About Us
Nordic Computer Systems was opened to fill a void in what we perceived as a lack of customer service and honesty in the computer building customizing/modding and repair industry. Very quickly we established ourselves as a company that will go beyond the norm to make customers happy. Our first custom computer was a 386 with a co-processor (Here is some trivia, Intel made the 386 processor until 2007! It was used in Aerospace and cellular phones! Who would have thunk it?) and a whopping 16 megs of memory. That computer is now being used by the grandchildren of the couple and still running Windows 3.1.
In fact we have found that many of the computers we built back then are still being used in one way or another. This says something about the quality we put into every machine we build and or service. When we service your computer or network we use the best quality parts and equipment available so you know they will work for years beyond what is typical.
We take the time to explain new systems to our buyers and if we are in your home to work on something another company built we will do our best to replace only what is needed and to fully explain what and why we are recommending it as a fix or replacement for what ever problem there is. Often times we have been called because another company wanted to replace an item that didn't seem to have an issue and refused to explain the repair. More often than not we have had to repair the "repair" which could have been more expensive than needed.
Inexperienced technicians have no business working on customer computers or networks. The owner has 24 years of technical experience on computers, laptops, printers and networks so you can be sure he knows how to evaluate your problem.
